Whitstable and Herne Bay householders will have to travel a little further to dump or recycle their waste from next week.
The household 'dump' at Herne Bay will shut from Monday 6th August until early January while major changes are made to the site.
The nearest alternative sites are at Vauxhall Road, Canterbury and Manston Road, Margate.
