Councillors last night recommended that the cycle path proposals for Whitstable should go ahead.
A press officer told Whitstable People this morning that plans to lift the cycling ban on Tankerton promenade and to link the Oyster Bay Trail with the Crab & Winkle Path met with approval at the Joint Transportation Board's meeting and will now go forward to meetings of WAMP (the panel of Whitstable area councillors) and the city council's ruling executive.
