A Great Family Day Out

We visited Wildwood yesterday for the first time, shameful as we only live 15 minutes away and were pleasantly surprised. The woodland trail was well sign posted and there were a good variety of animals to see. The Wolves were particularly amazing and there are some great viewing points to watch them including a platform up in the trees. At the end of the trail we visited the child friendly cafe and to my 6 year old's delight, ended up in the outdoor play area complete with drop slide, swings, zip wire and plenty to climb on. Overall there is a good selection of activities to keep little ones amused and we will certainly be visiting again.

The Wildwood Trust is a leading animal conservation park in Kent

At the Wildwood Trust, we love animals! That's why we set up our wildlife park… to help with the conservation of Britain's native wildlife. If you love animals half as much as we do, you'll have a fantastic time at our wildlife park in Kent.

Come along and learn more about our beautiful native mammals, birds (including birds of prey!) and reptiles & amphibians. Kids can enjoy themselves in our adventure playground in between visiting the water voles and wallabies, before you all sit down for lunch or a sunny outdoor picnic. Learn about storks & cranes, otters and foxes, owls and wolves and so much more. And as we're a charity, admission prices are far below those of other zoos.

So enjoy a day out at Kent's leading animal conservation park.

    Such an interesting place

I really enjoy going to Wildwood and especially like the idea that all of the animals there have lived in Britain at some stage. Worth checking out their events diary too, as there are often talks on that come in free with the ticket price.
