More breezy weather for Whitstable

Even stronger winds with gusts of up to 39mph are forecast for Whitstable tomorrow following today's blustery weather.

Blown away - a kite stuck on a chimney near the Old Neptune pub in Whitstable.
This is merely breezy compared with Scotland and Northern England's severe gales of 60-70mph; however here in Kent the channel ferry crossings have been disrupted today.
According to the Met Office, we're in for a brief spell of quieter weather further into the week before the wind picks up again on Friday.
