Don't go here on your lunch break from work!

We came to this new shop to have our lunch break from work here. We were a party of 3, with only 2 of us ordering Sandwiches. To cut a long story short, it took 25 minutes for the sandwich to fabricate - with the bacon being microwaved and "limp", and the cheese being that of an "own store brand" (not very strong).

Highly overpriced for what you get, it was lucky that there was only 7 other people in the shop, as otherwise the wait could of been longer!

The Cakery

I had the pleasure of visiting the cakery in tankerton last Sunday. Both myself and my two children were made to feel very welcome by the owner. As was the other customers that i spoke to during my visit. The shop is very pretty and offers many things. We really enjoyed our lovely cakes so much And have asked if they could make my wedding cake .I will definitely be recommending the cakery to my friends and visiting again soon.

I had reason to be shopping in Tankerton Road this week and a new shop at 150 caught my eye. The nice welcome i had on entering and the lovely coffee and homemade cake, made on the premises by the very pleasant lady owner, who showed me the lovely gifts she had on display and explained all the ideas she had for cake making and decoration demonstrations, childrens parties etc..i thought what a breath of fresh air it was to see such great ideas. Good luck to The Cakery I shall certainly be calling for coffee and yes cakes again.
