    Whitstable Harbour.
Two men have been selected at interview to join Whitstable Harbour Board as new members. Their appointments have to be approved by Canterbury City Council, which manages the harbour via the board, but it is expected that Peter Steen and Paul Moore will join from the beginning of October to serve  three years as 'independent' members - that is, non-councillor members. The vacancies were advertised over the summer and 11 applications...

What do you think Canterbury City Council should be focusing on? The council has just published a draft corporate plan for the next five years and is inviting comments from people living in Whitstable, Herne Bay and Canterbury.
