Serious crash on Thanet Way at 'hometime'

There's been a serious crash on the Thanet Way near Herne Bay this evening.

Kent Police are saying that two lorries were involved.

The London-bound carriageway near the junction with A291 Canterbury Road has been closed for the last hour, and traffic is now being diverted off at Broomfield along the old Thanet Way, to rejoin the new road at Whitstable.
