Announced today - the opening date for the new Turner gallery in Margate: Saturday 16th April 2011. The opening exhibition will feature a little-known work by Turner. I do hope they can keep up a good standard of works to display otherwise this just might become an expensive 'white elephant' - or am I being too sceptical??
