Hi all.
With the summer holidays fast approaching I am looking for some all day holiday activities for my 11 year old son to take part in whilst I am at work. I am new to the area and have been looking on the internet but havent had any luck finding anything. Does anyone know of anywhere that I could start looking??

Hello welcome to the area - have you tried Kent College or St Edmunds I think they run summer schools .

Does anyone know if the local leisure centre runs a day camp, I have tried to call them but had no luck getting through?

There is a brilliant new sports centre at Whitstable Community College, which is run by Active Life who also run Whitstable Swimming Pool.

Thank you, I have just sent an email, My son used to go to the Leisure centre where we used to live and liked the variety of activites they did there....fingers crossed Whitstable might offer the same

Good luck! If your boy is sporty, he might consider the sailing club as mentioned above. They have junior weeks in summer and you don't have to have your own boat. Look at their website http://tinyurl.com/3sdlvnv
