Our whole hospital experience was so much better this time around and it made everything much easier.
Whilst I'm disappointed that I didn't get to have a natural birth, I'm just relieved to have my healthy, precious boy. I was feeling so ready to apply and use what I learnt in your classes during labour, but it wasn't a waste as I appreciated the 'baby time' while at yoga and the breathing and relaxing techniques certainly helped with the medical procedures and coping with the 'overdue-ness'! Thank you, Liz, for all your guidance and your lovely classes. I always arrived home happy and relaxed afterwards, filled with enough good energy to cope with anything!
Regards to everyone in class - hope that you are all fine. Book lots of things to do after your due date, waiting around is not fun. My local beauty salon did well out of me and it does help to have manicured feet to admire when you can see your toes again!

ReportBaby Otis finally arrived 10 days late on 20th April & weighing in at 10lbs exactly!
The labour was a lot quicker 2nd time around but like my first his head turned at the end, and he had to be delivered by Ventouse but it all went well & I had a really lovely midwife.
I found that the yoga really helped me though this time - especially all the deep breathing, and I actually got on with gas & air which I couldn't last time!
So just wanted to say thanks!
Otis is doing really well - he's already outgrown the moses basket!
I'll try & bring him in to the class soon, & definitely see you at Postnatal yoga.
Love Claire & Otis xx
