Why I like Whitstable
Whitstable was my first home town in England, when my parents came to settle here in 1954 from my birth place in Malta. Even after they moved away to Middlesex, I still regarded Whitstable as home and would return here at every opportunity, during school holidays and any other times when allowed. My sister lived in Whitstable, so I would stay with her. Since that time in the 50's I have moved to several locations, including Australia and Spain as well as other locations around the UK, but Whitstable has always pulled me back like a homing pigeon returning home. Whitstable is unspoilt like some other seaside towns and has for me many childhood memories.
Why I don't like Whitstable
My pet hate in Whitstable is the traffic in the high street, inconsiderate drivers who park wherever they like and the visitors who leave their litter on the beach. Please take it home with you or use the many bins provided!
