Ate here soon after they opened and although first impressions (cheap laminated menu's reminiscent of a roadside cafe!), were not great, the food was excellent and the service was friendly. Had a really enjoyable meal, with some nice touches (mediteranean style olive and bread platter when the drinks arrived), at a great price. Whats nice about the place is that its not one of those restaurants where you feel you have to whisper or really dress up for the occassion. Its a relaxed friendly place to eat, with a simple but well prepared menu - the owner was also friendly and welcoming, which ultimately makes such a difference. Personally I'd go out and print some menus on good quality paper, because even this would be a huge improvement on what they have now. If I have one other criticism, its that the a bar/restaurant called "The Lounge" really ought to have a "lounge" to sit in. A few comfy sofa's where you can sit with a drink and maybe a simple bar meal, instead of just the restaurant, could open up a whole new stream of customers for the "off season" months of the year - Just a thought. I'll certainly be going back.

Our new menu offers breakfasts, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea & cakes and an evening menu to be envied by others.
