Crab and Winkle Restaurant

I won a meal for two at the Crab and Winkle from Heart FM. My partner had promised to take me to this restaurant for ages but didn't. So I surprised him when I won this competition and took him. I explained to the lovely waitress on arrival that we won the meal and they couldn't have been friendlier. We went at lunch time and had excellent service from the Waitress and young Waiter, I could not fault the service it was 100%. The food was to die for, I chose the crab for starters the halibut for main and the creme brulee for dessert (creme brulee was recommended by the young Waiter and he was not wrong). I can't wait to go back there again. 5* rating from me!

    Crab and Winkle Restaurant

I took my Mum there one evening as we fancied a change from take away fish and chips. I was surprised by how chic the restaurant was once upstairs! We really enjoyed our meal, although I was a bit disappointed by the service, when we arrived we were not greeted so we sat down and were eventually asked to move as this table was booked. It was early evening and it was empty except for a large table of quite loud people, I was surprised we were shown to a table right next to them. Having said this we had trad fish and chips which was large fresh and crispy, with mushy peas on the side. This is a great place to take visitors but you must be prepared for London prices!
