Congratulations - Whitstable Community College is celebrating its highest-ever GCSE results. This year, 67% of pupils gained 5 or more A*-C grades compared with 51% last year.
The number of students with good passes in 5 or more subjects including maths and English jumped to 33% from 25% a year ago.
Hed teacher Helena Sullivan-Tighe said the results meant the school had eceeded its national exam target a year early.

Wow - when I was at school (which was only six years ago) most people only took nine! Congratulations everyone! I think it's great that there's a more diverse range of subjects available now. Kids are more likely to work hard for something which they enjoy and can see directly benefitting their future. I've heard that Whitstable Community College has a great range of vocational subjects - and that increase is amazing!
