    WHITSTABLE captain Liam Tegg admitted his frustration at having not claimed a victory at Bickley Park at the weekend.     BOWLS: Whitstable Bowling Club welcomed six triples of men from Charing Bowling Club for the Forest of Blean League match of the season. The host club won overall at 111-95 and picked up six league points. On May 8 four rinks of men and two of ladies visited Broadstairs Bowling Club where they won on one rink, lost on three and tied on two. Overall they lost at 100-120.

    A CREW from Brightlingsea Sailing Club prevailed after a frustrating day of sailing at Whitstable Yacht Club over the weekend. The B14 Nationals event was beset by some poor weather with no sailing taking place on Saturday and a number of crews opting out of some of the Friday and Sunday races.
