Railway bridge crash halts Whitstable trains

Train services through Whitstable and Chestfield/Swalecliffe have been delayed this morning after a road accident.

Southeastern are reporting that the line was closed after a vehicle struck a railway bridge, but has now been reopened.

However, trains may be still be cancelled or delayed for a while while the damage is assessed.
